Cold Fire is an environmentally friendly, rapid cooling, fire
suppressing agent, that has been leading the way in firefighting
technology and revolutionizing the way firefighters combat fires. it
is significantly more effective than water alone, and enhances the water's
ability to penetrate the source of the fire, thereby extinguishing the
fire with significantly less water and reducing the amount of water
damage. It greatly enhances the water's ability to absorb heat,
allowing firefighters to gain entry into a structure or room much
faster. Cold Fire is an acceptable substitute for Halon
1211 (WPA listed on SNAP program vedor list). It extinguishes on
contact, and can be added to portable and pumper apparatus, as well as
used in closed loop systems, sprinklers, etc.
-
A unique wetting agent encapsulates the hydrocarbons and
accelerates the biodegradation of the hydrocarbons ~ it does not
blankets like from; it works to penetrate the fuel source thereby
helping to prevent re-ignition when properly applied
-
UL listed as a Class A and B Wetting Agent (#2N75), and
tested in accordance with NFPA Standard 18 for wetting agents
-
SNAP listed (Significantly New Alternatives Policy) -
Environmental Protection Agency considers acceptable alternatives to
toxic products on the market today
-
Class A: wood, tires, brush, forest, structures,
textiles (use 1-3% to water)
-
Class B: vehicles, oil, gasoline, diesel, alcohol (use
3-6% to water)
-
Class D: metals, such as magnesium, aluminum and
titanium (use 6-10% to water)
-
Environmentally friendly, 100% biodegradable, non-toxic
and non-corrosive
-
Reduces the density of hydrocarbon smoke, thereby
increasing visibility
-
Unique rapid cooling enhances safety; reduces the
chances of flashover
-
Can be added directly to booster tank - 100% soluble: it
will not corrode equipment or clog hose lines~ it can be dumped directly
into booster tanks or easily inducted - no special equipment
required
